Year 9 Celebrate Cultural Diversity at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts
Harris Academy Peckham were fortunate enough to be chosen to participate in this year’s Mountview Bridge Project.
Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts is one of the UK's leading drama schools with a worldwide reputation for excellence in education and training.
Year 9 students committed to a 10-week series of after-school workshops to create an original piece of theatre, which was then performed in one of Mountview’s performance spaces. Students involved created a play about their cultural identity and they were amazing.
We here at HAP are very proud of not only the final performance piece students created, but also the hard work and dedication that students displayed throughout this process. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the families of these students for supporting this project and allowing their young people to participate and have this amazing experience.
