Harris Primary Academy Peckham Park PE sessions at HAP
On Monday 20th November the PE department hosted the first session of our community outreach project by welcoming the Year 5 cohort from Harris Primary Academy Peckham Park. This is part of a new collaboration between the Academy and local Primary schools aiming to broaden our commitment to provide high quality Physical Education for young people within the local community. The project is tailored to promote healthy and active lifestyles, as well as to develop the core skills that underpin effective and long-term participation in sport and physical activity. The session proved to be a great success, and will continue on a weekly basis throughout the remainder of the year with numerous other local Primary schools and academies.
