Year 7 King's Scholars Activity Day
On Friday 3rd February 12 Year 7 students visited King’s College. This provided our students with opportunities to engage in a number of activities to enable them to explore, question and uncover what happens at university and beyond. They worked with King’s College ambassadors, who provided them with information about what it is like to study at university.
Students were also shown around different parts of the Strand campus and asked to complete a profile on their designated ambassador. For the final activity they worked in groups and this included students from two other schools allowing them to increase their self-confidence working with new people and also to create a new society at King’s, which was then presented to their peers. A number of these presentations were highly imaginative and commented upon by all the ambassadors for their train of thought and impeccable delivery.
Particular mention goes to Alfred 7G2 and Amani 7Y1 for demonstrating leadership skills and Joel 7G1 for his very eloquent presentation.
