Rowing - University of East London

On the 16th October 2015 8 students from Harris Academy Peckham visited the University of East London sports dock to take part in the national schools indoor rowing challenge.

The students took part in timed rowing events based on their age. The aim was to row as far as possible in the time they had been allocated. This was the first indoor rowing competition many of the students had taken part in. The students all did themselves proud working extremely hard to perform to the best of their ability. All of the students thoroughly enjoyed the event and will hopefully go on to compete in the schools national indoor rowing championships later in the school year.
