Lord's Cricket Trip

On Tuesday 9th June, 8 Year 7 students represented our school and Southwark Council at the London Youth Games. 14 teams took part in the competition from across London. We first faced Alexandra Park School, this was a tough match and we worked hard to match their runs. We also played two more schools Ark Academy and Cranford Community College; we showed great team work and passion throughout the competition. We were placed 4th and received free cricket equipment so that we can continue to build on the progress made during the competition.  We were also lucky enough to have a short tour around the cricket ground and got a chance to take a few photos. All the students who attended enjoyed the experience of visiting such a prestigious cricket ground.
