HAP Features As Bedrock Learning Success Story

“Students have improved their reading age by two years in just eight months” - HAP features as a case study of Bedrock Learning success.

Harris Academy Peckham is a place that’s very familiar to Bedrock Learning. Its founder, Aaron Leary, was an English teacher and Literacy Coordinator here before being inspired to found Bedrock Learning to help improve literacy and transform outcomes.

In an article for the Bedrock website, Joe Lane, HAP Assistant Principal and Word Coordinator, explains how HAP is ensuring words – writing, oracy and reading development – are embedded into all aspects of the academy’s culture, from class displays to assemblies.
