GCSE Success at Harris Academy Peckham
Students and staff at Harris Academy Peckham celebrated their GCSE results in August 2019. 75% of students gained at least a Grade 4 in English and almost 60% did so in Maths.
Science continues to flourish at the academy, with every Chemistry and Physics student, and 93% of Biology students, gaining at least a Grade 5, which is a strong pass. 40% of Physics students and 33% of Chemistry students got a Grade 7 or higher, equivalent to at least an A.
Languages also performed well. In Spanish, a fifth of students achieved the top ‘super’ Grade 9 – equivalent to an A** and a fantastic achievement. 38% of French students achieved at least a Grade 7 (‘A’ grade+ equivalent).
