South London Gallery Visit
On Tuesday 8th March students participating in the BBC school report visited South London Gallery to interview the curator about our local community and the work the Gallery does within that community. Susan Uji and Hannah Dorkeeno were the dynamic interviewers who asked the curator Rachel many interesting and thought provoking questions about the history of the Gallery and the role of the Gallery within our community. Olayinka Aresa directed the interview and ensured the shots were dynamic, interesting and aesthetically pleasing, even the curator was surprised at his rigour and attention to detail! The visit was extremely interesting and informative, and the students left with a real sense of wanting to return to explore all art and opportunities the Gallery provides. The interview will be included within our school report which will go live on Thursday 10th March.
