Rugby Tournament

On Wednesday 28 January Post 16 students took part in a Rugby tournament rugby. Only one member of the team had any previous experience of rugby, this allowed for the other students, who are studying PE to experience competition in a new sport and develop their knowledge of the rules in a practical setting. All of the other teams had played regularly and we lost all of the matches however the team progressed extremely quickly throughout the day going from not scoring in the first 3 matches to losing the last match by one try which we were about to score when the time ran out. The group really enjoyed the day and we have been made aware of further fixtures which they are looking forward to taking part in.
