Lung Theatre

This half term, we had LUNG THEATRE come in and work with our students, a groundbreaking theatre company renowned for its powerful Verbatim performances. This unique art form harnesses the voices and experiences of young people to craft compelling stories that resonate with their peers.

Every Year 9 student had a chance to attend an assembly where the essence of Verbatim theatre was brought to life through engaging demonstrations by both staff and enthusiastic student volunteers.

Following this assembly, a select group of 23 talented students was chosen to delve deeper into the art of creating Verbatim plays through an immersive workshop. This was not just an opportunity to learn, but a chance to express themselves creatively and explore their potential as performers and thinkers.

The energy and enthusiasm displayed by our students were truly remarkable, showcasing their talent and creativity.
