Year 10 Perform in Music Showcase
In March, members of the Year 10 GCSE Music class took part in their first GCSE Showcase. As 30% of the GCSE course is performance, this event gives students the opportunity to perform in public for the first time.
They performed solo or ensemble pieces in a smaller space to a supportive audience in preparation for performing on the Academy's main stage to a much larger audience at our main Winter Concert or Songfest performances.
Students performed a wide range of songs from Billie Eilish and The Greatest Showman to Adele and Whitney Houston.
