Praise, Year 11, on the HeadStart Action Programme

Praise, one of our Year 11 students who left HAP in May, writes about how she's been participating in a social action programme, HeadStart Action Programme, which aims to solve societal problems and provide young minds with an opportunity to develop their skills.

Through this programme, I have been able to improve my teamwork and problem-solving skills, while simultaneously working towards a solution to a pressing issue in our society. Additionally, once the programme is completed, I will have access to an employability programme that will further enhance my skills and help me in my future career aspirations.

I believe that programmes like this are incredibly valuable for young people, as they provide us with a platform to use our voices and ideas to make a positive impact on the world around us. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in this programme, and I hope to continue doing similar work in the future.
