Cherif Gains Oxford College Place to Study Physics
We are very proud of former Harris Academy Peckham student, Cherif (pictured), who won a place to study Physics at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, as part of the college's foundation year pre-entry scheme.
Cherif says he is interested in teaching and might one day like to teach back in Peckham. As a sixth former he set up a tutoring company for GCSE students, so teaching is clearly in his blood!
The Oxford college's pre-entry scheme sees students from under-represented background being offered a place for one year before very likely, but not necessarily, being offered a place for the rest of the course.
We are delighted for Cherif and everyone at Harris Academy Peckham wishes him success with his future studies.
