Year 9 Harris Experience Careers Event

 

On Thursday 8th March our Year 9 Harris Experience students enjoyed a careers day at King’s College and took part in the following workshops: Healthcare, Law and Government, Science and Engineering, Finance and Technology and The Media and Creative Industries. These workshops allowed students to better understand key aspects about each profession, such as the types of jobs available, the main employers and how best to access each profession. Furthermore, there were a series of activities designed to further improve their knowledge of each. Students also met with lawyers from Fieldfisher, a top London law firm and they delivered a very engaging and informative presentation about this profession and the various careers pathways that students could consider if pursuing a career in law. A number of our students have expressed intent in pursuing a career in law!

Particular mention goes to Asia and Tashea, who were awarded certificates by the King’s ambassadors for demonstrating an exceptional attitude to their learning during the day. A huge congratulations to both!
