Harris Experience Year 10 STEM Afternoon - Visit to Imperial College

On Wednesday 8th November Year 10 Harris Experience students visited Imperial College London. There was  a series of highly entertaining, educational and very engaging lectures embracing topics from “Mystery Science”, “The Microbiomel” and “Earth Science” to “Plasma Fusion”. All were delivered by very passionate experts in their field. Each speaker highlighted their journey from the subjects they studied at GCSE and A-level, to the University degree they chose and their current Ph.D. research focus. They provided an insight into what their research entails and importantly, how much this contributes to the well-being of society. The event concluded by detailing the range of pathways available to students interested in pursuing an illustrious career in Science.
