Imperial College visit

On Friday 25th November seven Year 13 students visited the Reach Out Lab at Imperial College. The students performed a Wittig reaction. This process also involved them using recrystallization to purify their product and using different analysis techniques to identify their product including thin layer chromatography, infra-red spectroscopy and NMR spectroscopy. The students found the experience very useful.
