Biology Workshop Imperial College
On Wednesday 9th November 7 Year 12 students visited Imperial College for a Biology workshop.
The session consisted of three challenging practicals, teaching students many new practical, analysing and interpretation skills.
It was also an opportunity to reinforce, for many of our students who want to study medicine, the requirements in successfully applying to university as a couple of the mentors on the day were third year medical students.
Our students asked the mentors many questions regarding university courses, university life, personal statement applications etc which enthused and helped to inspire our students to study even harder during their A’level studies.
Peckham students thoroughly enjoyed the day and have picked up valuable skills which they will need to successfully feel more confident in their forthcoming practical work.
