Ford Engineering visit

On Thursday 17 December  4  Year 11 and 2 Year 10 students went to the Ford Engineering Plant in Essex.  During the day they worked in groups made up of students from other schools.  They took part in a range of activities.  They designed a computer programme (which Tyler won a prize for).   They designed an object that rotated several times, they then made it and also tested it several times and also stood up in front of everyone and present their ideas (Otis won a prize too). They had a tour of the Ford plant.  The Year 11 students were also lucky enough to go in modified Ford cars and be driven round on their race track!
