World Book Day 2016

Students and staff celebrated World Book Day with a range of inspiring activities: A quiz during Tutor Time challenged students to remember details of their favourite books. The SMCS activity invited them to write short book recommendations. Bookmarks are always in high demand at the LRC, a lot of students participated at the competition and handed in new designs: The best ones will be distributed soon! During break-time literacy spies walked around and rewarded students who were caught reading with Peckham Points. Teachers contributed by speaking about their favourite books and putting the book they are currently reading on display.

At the end of the day the most engaged readers went straight to the local bookstore to get their World Book Day Book!
